Majority of Manitoba Support Euthanasia
Winnipeg – A majority of Manitoba adults support the right of patients who are terminally ill or who have severe disabilities to end their own lives, a new survey of 1,010 Manitobans conducted for the Winnipeg Free Press reveals.
Manitobans were asked to weigh in on whether they support euthanasia in principle and whether or not they support Manitoba following Quebec’s lead and introducing legislation which would allow physicians to help people with terminal illnesses or severe disabilities end their own lives.
