Manitobans Think NDP Will Lose With Selinger
Winnipeg – A significant number of Manitobans are questioning the collective wisdom of New Democratic Party members, as a new Probe Research Inc. survey conducted for the Winnipeg Free Press shows that two-in-five Manitoba adults (40%) think the NDP made the wrong decision by keeping Greg Selinger as party leader and premier.
The survey also finds that 42 percent of Manitobans believe that the NDP is less likely to win the next election with Mr. Selinger as leader. Only one-in-ten (11%) believe the NDP are more likely to defeat the Progressive Conservatives and Liberals in the next election with Mr. Selinger at the helm, while 37 percent feel the party’s choice of leader has no bearing on the NDP’s chances of winning the next election.
