Federal Liberals Running A Strong Second in Westman

– In recent times, Western Manitoba’s two federal ridings have been counted on
to return Conservative candidates to Ottawa. But a new Probe Research Inc.
survey conducted for the Brandon Sun shows
that Brandon-Souris and Dauphin-Swan River-Marquette may be more closely
contested than usual, with the Liberals running a strong second to the
incumbent Conservatives.
