Majority of Winnipeggers Will Not Come Downtown After Dark


Winnipeg – A new Winnipeg Free Press-CTV Winnipeg survey conducted by Probe Research Inc. shows that the majority of Winnipeg adults are not comfortable walking downtown after nightfall. Citizens are split, meanwhile, on whether they would be more likely to come to the centre of the city if there were fewer panhandlers in the area.
