'Informed Majority' Backs East Side Hydro Line
Citizens Following BiPole III Debate Prefer Building Power Line On East Side of Lake Winnipeg (54%) To Western Manitoba Route (26%)
Winnipeg - Most Manitobans may not be following the debate over BiPole III particularly closely, but those who are paying close attention to the political tussle over the preferred route for a new Manitoba Hydro transmission line overwhelmingly prefer building it east of Lake Winnipeg rather than on the longer, westerly route chosen by the provincial government.
